For more than 20 years, Dan Decker and Danko Manufacturing have been creating auxiliary braking systems for motorhomes, along with other popular aftermarket RV products. In 1994, Dan Decker and his father introduced the BrakeBuddy portable braking system into the market. The BrakeBuddy proved to be a very successful product and dominated the market for more than 10 years. In 2004, Decker sold the BrakeBuddy Auxiliary Braking System to a venture capital investment company and turned his attention to developing other products such as the RV EzLevel and the RV AwningClamp. In 2011, Decker introduced the RVibrake Auxiliary Braking System, the smallest portable braking system on the market.
